It is filled with period features, including exposed ceiling beams, a large fireplace housing a gas wood burning stove, deep recessed windows and thick stone walls. While it has abundant cottagey charm, this is also a surprisingly spacious property with a light, airy feel. The lounge and kitchen are generously proportioned, and there are three king sized double bedrooms (one en-suite), plus plenty of additional storage areas, providing ample space for a family or group of friends to stay very comfortably. There are also some wonderful modern features that blend seamlessly with the old. The large kitchen combines cottage appeal with high-quality modern facilities, including an integrated induction hob and oven, and a dishwasher. Plus, there’s a separate office where you can dock a laptop should you need to work, or alternatively it can be used as a gaming space. You’ll also get stunning views of the Yealm estuary and the pretty slopes of Noss Mayo from the lounge windows and two of the bedrooms and from the lovely elevated terraced garden – which is the ideal spot for enjoying a meal or a drink out in the fresh air.
