The space 🏡 The accommodation Single-story with an independent entrance. Living area: Bright living room with sofa bed (2 seats), dining table, TV and equipped kitchen: induction hob, microwave, air-fryer, classic Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and complete dishes. Bedroom: Comfortable double bed with dresser for storage. Bathroom: Modern shower with washing machine. We provide bed linen and towels for the number of people indicated. Extras: Raclette and fondue machine available, with the possibility of ordering a local cheese board for your Savoyard evenings (depending on our availability). 🌄 Outside Breathtaking views of the Hirmentaz ridges. Large garden perfect for sledding (sleds lent upon request). Private parking in front of the independent entrance to the apartment. Electric vehicle charging: It is possible to charge your electric vehicle on a 7 kWh terminal. 🎿 Things to do nearby Alpine skiing: Les Habères resort 500 m away, or Hirmentaz ski area 10 minutes away by car. Domaine des Portes du Soleil (45 min), Sommand (30 min), Les Brasses (15 min). Cross-country skiing: Plateau des Moises (5 min), Plaine-Joux (15 min), Sommand (30 min) Hiking: Departure of many trails directly from the chalet or within 15 minutes by car (a whole list of activities is available in a view holder in the apartment). Tourist discoveries: Thonon-les-Bains and Lake Geneva (25 min). Geneva or Annecy (45 min). Route des Grandes Alpes nearby. 🎿 Comfort and calm assured The chalet is located in a very quiet area with little traffic, perfect for unwinding. 🍽 Restaurants and bar nearby Several typical restaurants and a friendly bar are within walking distance from the chalet, ideal for tasting local specialties or having a good time after a day of skiing. 🐾 Pets welcome! We accept your four-legged companions. Note that we ourselves have a large Bernese Bouvier dog, very nice and sociable, who walks freely around the house and also our Persian cat: Harry. 🏍️ For bikers An equipped garage is at your disposal: tools, boot dryer and glove dryer included. Guest access You will have full access to the apartment located on the ground floor of the chalet, with a separate entrance and part of the garden. Private parking in front of the apartment is available for your use. If you are a biker, you can also access the equipped garage on request. The other parts of the chalet and garden are private, but feel free to contact us if you have any needs or questions during your stay. Other things to note We cannot guarantee the presence of snow in winter. This is very random. Sometimes a lot of it falls at once, or there isn't any at all. In this case, you have to go skiing in the resorts a little higher in altitude. The Sommand-Praz de Lys resort is 30 minutes away, with quite a few slopes and the prices are quite reasonable. It happens in bad weather, that the connection and the internet/telephone network are not always very good.
