Large garden perfect for sledding (sleds lent upon request). Private parking in front of the apartment's separate entrance. EV charging: It is possible to charge your electric vehicle at a 7 kWh charging station (optional). 🎿 Things to do nearby Downhill skiing: Les Habères resort 500 m away, or Hirmentaz ski area 10 minutes away by car. Portes du Soleil ski area (45 min), Sommand (30 min), Les Brasses (15 min). Cross-country skiing: Plateau des Moises (5 min), Plaine-Joux (15 min), Sommand (30 min) Hiking: Many trails start directly from the chalet or are within a 15-minute drive (a full list of activities is available in a folder in the apartment). Route des Grandes Alpes nearby. 🎿 Comfort and calm assured The cottage is located in a very quiet area with little through traffic, perfect for unwinding. 🍽 Restaurants and bar nearby Several typical restaurants and a friendly bar are within walking distance from the chalet, perfect for sampling local specialties or having a good time after a day of skiing. 🐾 Pets welcome! We welcome your furry friends. Please note that we ourselves have a large Bernese Mountain Dog, who is very friendly and sociable and roams freely around the house. The same applies to our Persian cat, Harry. 🏍️ For motorcyclists An equipped garage is available for your use: tools, boot dryer and glove dryer included. Guest access You will have full access to the apartment located on the ground floor of the chalet, with a separate entrance and part of the garden. Private parking in front of the apartment is available for your use. If you are a biker, you can also access the equipped garage on request. The other parts of the chalet and garden are private, but feel free to contact us if you have any needs or questions during your stay. Other things to note We cannot guarantee that there will be snow in the winter. It's very unpredictable. Sometimes a lot falls all at once, and sometimes there is none at all. In that case, you have to go skiing in resorts that are a little higher in altitude. The Sommand-Praz de Lys ski resort is 30 minutes away, with quite a few slopes, and the prices are very reasonable. In bad weather, the connection and the internet/phone network are not always very good. Power outages can also occur during storms.
