They return year after year to explore the island, relax on the balcony, enjoy the pool and stroll to Tirant beach. The space Arriving at Playas de Fornells, you will be greeted by clusters of attractive low-rise villas, nestling into the hills overlooking Cala Tirant Bay. When the road round the hillside opens up to the stunning seascape of Cap Cavalleria and its lighthouse, you will have found your holiday home! There is a small access road, with 6 steps leading to a garden area and our front door. There is free street parking nearby. We have rented our apartment since 1988 using other platforms and have just this year started hosting on Airbnb. You will have exclusive use of our apartment, which has been furnished in a rustic local style. The lounge-dining room is comfortably arranged for four people, with TV, WIFI, Air Con and an electric radiator. It opens onto the balcony, with table and chairs for four people. This is north west facing and is sheltered until it catches the late afternoon sun. It is an ideal place to relax, drink in hand, and enjoy the panoramic sea views across to Cap Cavalleria and beyond. Weather watching and sunsets can be spectacular. Enjoy! There are two bedrooms, one with king size bed, Air Con, electric radiator, sea views, and archway to ensuite with shower. Some say that the view from this WC is the best in Europe! The second bedroom has two twin beds, wardrobe, electric radiator, fan and a garden view. The family bathroom, with shower over the bath and bidet, houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals at home. The garden area by the front door is part of the shared communal area. It is furnished with a table and chairs, which provides an alternative outside place to sit. There is a handy outside tap here. The swimming pool is along the access road and down some steps and is shared by the Alcor community. The apartment is professionally managed by a long-established Management Company, who provide our professional cleaning and laundering services. You will be provided with their contact details and they are on hand should any problem occur during your stay. We recommend a car for ease of travel around the island but it is not essential and many of our guest choose not hire a car. There is a local but service.
