La Chatelardière

Our fully renovated gite can accommodate 4 or 6 people. It features: 1 living room with open kitchen, living room with sofa bed, dining room with pool table, 1 shower room with walk-in shower and separate toilet, 2 bedrooms with 140x190 cm beds and walk-in closets. A terrace with an awning, garden furniture, a plancha grill, sun loungers, and a shed with a toilet and shower. A garden with a swimming pool (covered and heated from the beginning of April to the end of September), a swing, a ping-pong table and a pétanque court. The space The cottage is attached to our home. We have soundproofed the partitions and doors so that everyone can fully enjoy their space and peace and quiet. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, etc., and you will have access to the laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The dining table turns into a pool table to enhance your evenings. Access to the swimming pool is at your own risk. It is secured by a dome. It will be shared with us, but we never go there when there are other people. We offer free Wi-Fi access and baby equipment that can be provided upon request (baby bed, bathtub, booster seat, changing mat). Guest access You will have access to independent parking and the possibility of self check-in thanks to a secure box. Accessibility information The accommodation is completely on one level, and access to the main room is through a double door. There is a step of about 12 cm to access the bedrooms, the bathroom and the toilet. Door width: • Toilet and bathroom: 90 cm • Bedrooms: 70 cm The cottage is therefore not accessible to people with reduced mobility Other things to note Our cottage is located in the heart of a small village where you will enjoy an ideal geographical location between the ocean (33 km) and Puy du Fou (65 km), a few kilometers from O'Gliss Park and O'Fun Park (30 km), the Green Venice, the Zoo and Pierre Brune Park in Mervent, La Rochelle, and Île de Ré… A 2-minute walk away, you will have access to a bar/restaurant (closed on Wednesdays) where you can buy bread, pastries, tobacco and newspapers, and eat lunch. On weekends, you can sit down in the evening with an appetizer platter or something else… A few meters further, in the heart of the village, you will find a hair salon and a shop selling local products, the Lay River and its magnificent weir! 2 km away, Les Vergers de Vendée offers fruit and vegetables that you can pick yourself or buy in their shop, which also has a butcher's and charcuterie section, a dairy section and a local grocery section.
