The space A haven of peace in the heart of Touraine: welcome to Grand-Martigny, a 15th century estate classified as a Remarkable Heritage. Behind its old porch, discover a large flowered courtyard, a dovecote and, in summer, fruit trees, all surrounded by countryside without neighbors. Your room, located in the old wheat attic, combines authenticity and comfort. It has a private attic bathroom (toilets are shared). Every morning, a gourmet breakfast can be served: assorted breads, homemade jams, yogurts, orange juice and hot drinks. On sunny days, enjoy the swimming pool and terrace overlooking the fields; in autumn and winter, relax by the fireplace. Ideally located, the estate is 20 minutes from Château du Rivau and 45 minutes from Futuroscope, Azay-le-Rideau and Villandry. Guest access In addition to your room, you can enjoy the common areas: the cozy living room with its fireplace, the elegant dining room and the flowered exteriors to enjoy the calm of the countryside. The bright kitchen, open to the garden, can also be made available if you need it — just let us know in advance. Other things to note The small pool that is offered to you is above ground and does not compete with an in-ground pool where you can swim lengths! It is an amenity to be able to cool off in hot weather. You can vape in the house, but it's best to smoke outside. No alcohol or drug use.
