The Pine Room offers a warm and inviting retreat, perfect for guests seeking tranquility and a touch of rustic charm. This second floorspace features a cozy loft creating a sense of seclusion. Large windows flood the room with natural light, providing stunning views of the surrounding landscape and inviting the beauty of the outdoors inside. The room’s pinewood accents and high ceilings add a touch of rustic elegance, while the nicely designed layout ensures a relaxing and comfortable stay. The space Cooks Mill Manor is onsite at Tillers International. It is a non-profit organization that leads in teaching essential homesteading skills. Our offerings include toolmaking, timber framing, woodworking, coopering, and blacksmithing. You may encounter staff and students during your stay. Whether you’re here for a workshop or a peaceful rural retreat, the farm offers a quiet place to unwind and reconnect. Guest access Guests have access to the kitchen, library and living room. Breakfast is not offered at this time but there is a nice little cafe in the town of Scotts about 1 mile away. During your stay Cooks Mill Manor is located on the grounds of Tillers International, a small nonprofit organization dedicated to traditional skills and sustainable farming. Throughout the week—and occasionally on weekends—you may encounter staff, students, or community members working in our shops or tending to the farm. Their presence adds to the unique, welcoming atmosphere of the property, and they’re always happy to share a smile or a story. Other things to note We do not have air conditioning. There are ceiling fans, and we do offer stand fans. The house stays naturally cool due to the nature of the exterior stone.
