Owl Lodge is totally secluded with peace and quiet and stunning countryside views, but only 15 minutes from the nearest coast (Looe and Seaton) and the SouthWest Coast Path, and surrounded by wonderful National Trust Properties within 30 minutes (Lanhydrock, Coethele, Antony etc). Owl Lodge is perfect for nature lovers looking for a beautiful and private space after a day out and about in beautiful 'hidden' Cornwall. The space Owl Lodge is a genuine Scandinavian Lodge built from fully sustainable forests. It is built to the highest EPC rating, with double glazing throughout. The main room is large: 38m2 with a full kitchen (oven, ceramic hob, microwave, air fryer, large fridge/freezer) with lots of cupboard space. There is a comfortable sofa, relaxing chairs, and a dining table. There is a Utility Entrance when returning from a walk or the beach, with plenty of room to remove boots, swimwear, or walking gear. The utility has a washing machine and a tumble drier. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, and an ensuite wet-room (shower) designed for wheelchair access. The second bedroom has two single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. There is a wide balcony with step-free access around the building; the main part of the balcony has uninterrupted views over beautiful farmland and the woodland of the grounds. Medium walk (10-15 minutes) up and down paths to the beach: Whitsand Bay, Lansallos. Tough Walk (20-30 ) minutes to one of the loveliest beaches in Cornwall, where there are very few people (because of the walk): Lantic Bay For Walkers South West Coastal Path. Some of the most spectacular parts of the South West Coastal Path are within easy reach (15-30 minutes) of Owl Lodge. There is a mix of circular paths, paths which can be walked one way, and return by bus, and 'there and balk' walks. There are also walks which have little in the way of gradient ( Tregantle to Rame Head), and one of the steepest on the South West Coastal Path ( Lansallos to Polperro), with everything in between. The Moors Bodmin Moor with its famous Cheesering, is 20 minutes away, and Dartmoor is 40 minutes away.
