This one bedroom, one full bath apartment in Hayesville, NC is a hidden treasure tucked away in a bucolic setting with beautiful views of the Smokies. It is a perfect getaway for 1-2 people complete with an open kitchen/dining/living area. Whether you need time away, you're attending an event nearby, or you're planning on participating in some outdoor adventures, this apartment, situated on a 19 acre farm, is easy to get to, and you can park just a few feet from the door. The space The apartment is part of a separate building that contains a workshop, office, and workout area. Although we may access these areas from time to time, your space is sealed off. The location of the building is near a pond that is fed by one of two creeks on the property. Adjacent to the pond is a covered patio and a fire pit that you are free to use and enjoy. The property sits on a quiet 19 acre farm that contains plenty of space to explore. Lake Chatuge is nearby, and we are about a 20 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School in nearby Brasstown, for those looking for a place to stay while taking one of their week long classes. Guest access Guests will have access to the apartment and the grounds immediately surrounding the building including around the pond, creeks, covered pavilion, and fire pit. Our house up on the hill is off limits and depending on the time of your year, the pasture areas across from one of our two creeks may be off limits. We ask that guests avoid trying to access the other rooms in the same building, the barn, garden, or other structures on the property. If you need access to an area to do Yoga, we do have a room that can be made available. Other things to note Please note that we do currently raise chickens on the property and do have a garden in the spring, summer, and fall so you will hear us moving about from time to time. We will try to allow you peace but please note that we will need to access the workshop adjacent to the apartment. We will make every attempt to give you as much peace and quiet as possible.
