Inspired by the lively Jamaican vernacular, "Kotch" is a warm, casual term for offering or seeking a place to stay. at Kotch, you'll enjoy a Master (Primary) Bedroom Suite in a modern home with a private patio and garden. Recently remodeled as part of a full house and yard transformation, the space offers privacy and serene views of the property and surrounding hills. Seasonally, we may share fresh oranges, mandarins, or grapefruits from our garden. Our home is located in Poway, known ad “The City in the Country". Like the rest of Poway, the neighborhood offers a perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility, making it an ideal destination for relaxation, work, and outdoor adventures. Nestled in the rolling hills of San Diego County, Poway is a peaceful residential community with a small-town charm that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle, yet it’s just a short drive to San Diego’s vibrant attractions. We are close to an array of supermarkets (Trader Joes, Stater Bros, Aldi's, North Park Produce) and restaurants. Guest access Primary Bedroom Suite and adjacent patio is for your exclusive use. No access to either the pool/spa or the rest of the house which will be occupied by the host’s family and pets during your visit. During your stay We work from home so either myself or my husband will generally be available if you need something. Other things to note While we love animals, we are unable to accommodate them, including service animals and emotional support animals. We have a friendly golden doodle who is kept mostly indoors when the space is occupied. Our space does not have a kitchen, but we provide a mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and microwave for your convenience. You'll also find a small desk and a comfortable chair, perfect for work or study. We recognize the allure of our numerous fruiting tres (that’s why we grow them 😀), but ask that guests do not picket at will.
