Spacious Icelandic house with a large private backyard, suitable for a big group or family. - The space The house has been in the family since my grandfather built it in 1956 and have been the centre of many great memories. 5 bedrooms(10 beds), kitchen with pantry, living room, bathroom with shower, a separate wc, separate shower facility, laundry room and more. See pictures for further room description. The house can easily suit a large group that would like to have a comfortable base while exploring the beautiful Snæfellsnes Peninsula. For technical facilities, it can offer a modern Wi-Fi network, Smart TV with video streaming through Chromecast, Speaker system with Bluetooth, electronic kitchen appliances and more - Guest access Guests have access to the whole house except the garage and the attic. After booking confirmation, the guests are given a unique interactive map. This map has many layers of practical information for the guests. Like: Driving route to the house, places to see, restaurants to try, grocery stores, shops, hidden gems, activities and more. - Other things to note Weather! Iceland offer some of the world’s most beautiful sights and scenery, but the weather conditions can be unpredictable and sometimes dangerous if not well prepared. Regardless of the season, it’s recommended to bring warm clothes. If well dressed, the weather in Iceland can be a great experience in itself. -
