The space This ideal vacation retreat is located steps away from Silver Strand Beach, a mile-long sandy beach nestled between Port Hueneme naval base to the south and Channel Islands Harbor to the north. Generally uncrowded, this family-friendly beach is a favorite spot for surfing, kayaking, fishing, and long walks on the golden sand. Sea lions, pelicans, and a variety of other wildlife are on full display here, adding to the beauty of this unique coastal landscape. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, private back patio, washer and dryer, and driveway parking for up to two cars. The smart lock with your own personal code ensures an easy and secure self check-in. Other things to note Silver Strand Beach is located about 72 miles northwest of Los Angeles International Airport. Malibu (37 miles), Santa Barbara (38 miles), Ojai (25 miles), and Ventura (11 miles) are all an easy day trip away. The beach house is a great location from which to explore nearby Channel Islands National Park. The islands are only accessible by private boat or through the park concessionaire, Island Packers.
