Location Location Location! Parkside Studio is modern accommodation perfectly located in the heart of New Plymouth near the beautiful Pukekura Park. With all the comforts of home and most amenities and many landmarks within a 10 minute walk, you can park your car in the private garage, unpack your bags and walk everywhere! The space COMFORTABLE SLEEPING: Enjoy a restful night in the king-size bed ensuring you wake up refreshed. Extra pillows are available so you get the most comfortable sleep. There is a large wardrobe with hangers and built in draws so you can unpack your suitcase and feel right at home! CONVENIENT KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING AREA: The kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, toaster, jug, microwave, air fryer, gas hob, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, coffee plunger and other useful kitchen items making it ideal if you want to make yourself a meal. Tea, coffee, sugar and other condiments are available for your use, as are dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets. There is a lovely oak dining table and chairs suitable for two people. This can double as a desk if you need to do some work. There is a comfortable sofa bed in the living area with a coffee table and ottoman. There will be bedding supplied for the sofa bed if additional guests (i.e. children) are staying. Please note there is no oven. BATHROOM: Relax in your private bathroom featuring a shower, toilet and vanity, complete with a hairdryer for your convenience. Towels, face cloths, hand wash and body wash provided. LAUNDRY: There is a washing machine in the kitchen with a clothesline outside attached to the side of the studio. Pegs, washing liquid, iron and ironing board are available. SMART ENTERTAINMENT: Connect to the free WiFi and unwind with your favourite shows on the smart television equipped with the popular apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, TVNZ+ etc). PRIVATE OUTDOOR COURTYARD: Open the studio’s double doors and step out into the courtyard where there are two chairs and a table for you to take in the garden view while enjoying your morning coffee or evening drink. PARKING: Parking is available in our garage which is fully secure. We will supply a remote garage door opener for your convenience. There is plenty of street parking as well if required. LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS: A short 5-10 minute walk to three supermarkets and many restaurants and cafes makes it easy to explore local dining options. Equally, a 10 minute walk to Centre City Shopping Centre, the CBD, the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery/Len Lye Museum and Puke Ariki will fulfil your shopping and cultural needs. Located 500 metres from Pukekura Park, 800 metres from TSB Stadium and 1km from the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, you can attend concerts, shows, sports events and other outdoor adventures without having to use your car. Within a 5-10 minute drive you can get to all the local beaches, Te Rewa Rewa Bridge, Yarrows Stadium, Tūpare Gardens, Mangamahoe Mountain Bike Park and the Hillsborough Car Museum, Luge and Mini Golf. If you want to venture a bit further, within 20-30 minutes you can visit Ōakura, take a tour of Pukeiti Gardens or explore one of the many walks/hikes on Mount Taranaki. Guest access The studio is self-contained and has the use of the garden courtyard. Guests will be offered the use of our garage which is fully lockable and has keypad access to the side door and remote garage opener for the main door. Other things to note We live in the house on the property at the back of the section. Our main living area is right at the back of the section. We don't hear guests, and we don't expect guests to hear us. The studio has double glazing and soundproofing.
