The Blue House - with SAUNA

The Blue House was once the hayloft above a former calf barn. Now it houses a bright apartment on the 2nd floor with plenty of air and light, a large west-facing balcony, and additional seating in the courtyard. Fall and winter special: Sauna, which is accessible only to you. (Usage fee: €20/day) A covered parking space is yours. Quiet location on the edge of town. The walking and cycling routes start right outside the door. The shoe town of Pirmasens is 5 minutes away. The space The apartment is just under 90 m². It is on the 2nd floor. You are the only residents of the house. The spacious apartment was built in 2000 as a timber-frame structure above a former stable building. A photovoltaic system produces part of our electricity. WiFi is available free of charge throughout the house. Rooms and amenities: Entrance: You have your own front door, which leads into the spacious hallway with a coat rack and secure storage for bicycles and strollers. The wide staircase leads up to the apartment. Living and dining room: We have a spacious, bright living room for you. The sofa bed for two people, a cozy armchair and a large smart TV invite you to relax, and a cozy dining table for up to eight people provides space to sit comfortably. There is also direct access to the sunny west-facing balcony from here. Bedroom/mini office: The very large bedroom has two beds (1 x 2 m each) and also a TV. A large wardrobe, a dresser and two bedside tables with lamps provide comfort and space for clothes and belongings. An additional desk offers the possibility to do office work or work from home. Kids Home: A crib is available. In the adjacent room, there is a comfortable sofa bed where the children can also have their own space. (We are still working on optimizing this.) We have toys for all ages. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, dishes, glasses, a kettle, a microwave, a coffee maker, a stove, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, etc. There is also a small table for a quick breakfast. Bathroom: The beautiful bathroom is equipped with a sink, large mirror, hairdryer, toilet and a large bathtub with shower option. Towels are ready for you. Exterior: There are additional seating and play areas in the yard. The courtyard gate protects your children from road traffic. Your car is parked under cover in the yard. Other services: There is also a sauna in the house upon request (use for €20 per day. Please bring your own towels for this). If you want to charge your electric car, you can do so at our Wallbox on request (50 cents/kWh). A washing machine is available for €5/wash. Leisure and dining: The premium hiking trail "Hexenklamm" is 500 m away. The "Schlabbeflicker Tour" for cyclists passes directly by the house. Many other hiking and biking trails await you. You can eat and drink within walking distance at the Palatinate Forest restaurant "Stockwaldhütte," at the Italian restaurant in the sports clubhouse, at the Gölter-Schimmel Inn or at the Kunz Hotel Restaurant. The town of Pirmasens, with shoe outlets, Dynamikum, the "PLUB" swimming pool, a chocolate factory and a pedestrian zone, can be reached in five minutes. 15 minutes to the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet. 30 minutes to the Citadel of Bitche in France. We'll be happy to provide you with more (insider) tips. Guest access House for your own use, private entrance, apartment on the 1st floor. The key is available directly in the large farmhouse or in the key safe.
