Berns Place

Berns Place is a self contained private annexe that sleeps 2 adults with a spacious kitchen/diner, living space/bedroom, shower room, private access, garden and parking. It offers you all you need for a comfortable stay and has been recently renovated throughout. We are situated in a village location just off the A47 between the historic towns of Kings Lynn and Wisbech and is just a short drive from Sandringham and the beautiful North Norfolk coast. The space BERNS PLACE - LOCATION We have for your stay a recently renovated self contained annexe built on a single level, with your own private entrance, garden and its own parking space on the property. It’s situated in a village location just off the A47 between the historic towns of King Lynn (Train Links) and Wisbech. The A47 leads you out to the beautiful North Norfolk coast passing by the Sandringham Estate with its woodland walks and Castle Rising on your journey through and many more beautiful spots to explore. Heading in the opposite direction the A47 will take you towards the town of March and the city of Peterborough both offering great train services. Within the village we are fortunate to have a nature reserve which is a beautiful place to take a walk along the river, have a picnic or do a spot of bird watching where the river flows out towards The Wash, and we are also only a few miles from the Welney Wildfowl & Wetland Trust Centre. THE ACCOMMODATION You will first enter the property into the spacious kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with all new appliances and offers all you need to prepare your own breakfast and meals. The fridge and cupboards are stocked with the basics (Salt & Pepper, Seasonings, Condiments, Oil etc) and on arrival there is tea, coffee, butter, milk and snacks provided. The table and chairs are a good size and can be used not only to enjoy your meals but as a good work space too if required. There is also a portable tv in this space, plus a radio with Bluetooth speaker. The shower room has shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and hand soap within and both hand and bath towels are provided. A hairdryer/iron/ironing board are also available for you to use. The bedroom area is spacious, comfortable and has a double bed, wardrobe with hangers and a set of drawers. There are spare blankets and more pillows that can be provided if requested. The living space is cosy with a sofa, optional lighting, tv and windows out onto the garden. AMENITIES There is a Local Morrisons Shop a short drive away and also a lovely Farm Shop and Restaurant just a few minutes down the road which you may pass on your drive in. You can pick up all you need at either of these but we advise it’s probably best you initially bring essentials with you to settle into your stay. The restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and evening meals.
