Cozy and stylish suite. You have a private entrance and staircase, cloakroom, living area, bedroom, en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge, free WiFi, Smart TV, and Bose soundbar. Although there is no kitchen, you have a microwave and there are 3 village pubs that all offer delicious home cooked food. There is also a fabulous well stocked village shop. We have 2 friendly cats but they can easily be kept out of the space if required. The space Although the accommodation is attached to our home, it is in a fully self-contained wing which is private from the main house. You will have your own separate entrance and staircase. You enter the property into a spacious hallway with an attached cloakroom, with a staircase up to a small landing area with a door through to the suite. There is a living area with a sofa and coffee table. In here there are tea and coffee-making facilities, and a basket containing snacks. There is a microwave and a fridge and a small amount of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Up a small step there is a cosy but spacious double bedroom with a TV and en-suite bathroom. Although there is no kitchen, you will be able to heat up a snack in the microwave or enjoy cold cuts and cheese or a pastry from the well stocked village shop (open 7 days a week). Cerne Abbas has 3 pubs that all serve excellent food and we are only 15 minutes from Dorchester where there are many pubs, restaurants and cafes. Weymouth is only a 30 minute drive away too. There are also a number of excellent gastropubs within a short distance, such as the Brace of Pheasants at Plush to name but one. Guest access You are welcome to use the hall / boot room to keep your coats and shoes and there is a downstairs loo you can use. If you have bikes with you, we are happy for you to store them here too. Other things to note Cerne Abbas is the perfect base for exploring the glorious Dorset countryside, with miles of stunning walks and cycleways on your doorstep if you want to leave the car in the village. Or if you fancy venturing further we are only a stone's throw from the world famous Jurassic Coast offering attractions such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Chesil Beach. There are 3 pubs and a very well stocked shop in the village. There's also the brilliant Cerne Abbas Brewery a short walk away. The County Town of Dorchester is about 8 miles south where there are an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants. Weymouth is only a 30 minute drive away too.
