Accessibility - the Loft has low door heights, the main entrance and door into the bedroom both are 158cm (a standard door is 198cm) this is due to the period nature of the property as a converted barn. These low heights are clearly marked but we want to make you aware before booking equally, due to height restrictions the balcony pictured isn't accessible but the patio offers a lovely outdoor, partially covered space. Parking - the Loft has a parking permit for the local car park which is a couple minutes walk away (200m) You can drop your things at the Loft, collect the permit then park. These instructions are laid out in our arrival guide. Guest access You will have the whole space to yourself, the property is accessed by a shared driveway with the next door adjoined property. You have a private patio and there is a balcony space, pictured, however due to height restrictions this is more decorative than functional. Other things to note We support local businesses and charities whenever possible and have reduced the number of single-use plastics across our Lake District rental cottages. We donate £5 per stay to good courses, all electricity is provided by a 100% renewable provider and we are installing bee boxes and bird feeders to encourage biodiversity. For 2025 we are supporting Cancer Care South Cumbria, they have supported families close to Coley Cottages deal with bereavement, they deliver thousands of hours of support and counselling to over 2000+ people locally. We also support the charity Something to Look Forward To, in 2024 we hosted 6 families impacted by cancer diagnosis.
