The Drovers' Rest is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in Clun. Brilliant area for walking and cycling -an area of ONB . A modern conversion from an 18th century Inn, features include a vaulted living room, log burner and original beams in the upstairs bedrooms. A 2 minute walk from the towns pubs and local shops. Clun Castle and the Shropshire Way is on your doorstep. Suitable for up to 4 adults and 2 children. Each bedroom has a small double and single bed. There is a bed settee. Dog friendly The space The Drovers' Rest is accessed from the side of Castle House. The lobby has space for your coats and shoes. There are stairs leading up to your apartment, taking you to a large open plan, living space with vaulted ceiling and the original fireplace with log burner. This lovely light space incorporates a lounge, with 2 sofas (one being a sofa bed), a dining area (table extends to 6 ) and a well provisioned kitchen. Leading off the living space is the toilet and shower that has under floor heating and heated towel rail. There are 2 doors from the living space leading to bedroom 1 and bedroom 2. There is a short flight of stairs going up to each bedroom. The bedrooms have exposed beams and the 2 velux windows in each room make them light and airy. Bedroom 1 also has a third window giving great views down the valley. The rooms are cosy but have plenty of space for 2 beds ( a small double and a single). There is a chest of drawers, large underbed storage drawers, hanging space and a luggage rack. There are electric heaters and portable fans. From the main living area there is a door to the outside decking area with table and chairs. It has views across the valley and is a lovely place to take your morning coffee! This is your private area. There is a side gate with access to Newport Street. This is a small lane that has no pavement so please take care checking for traffic.
