A short walk (>0.5 km) to the subway provides easy downtown access. The lively Danforth Avenue is just five minutes away, with great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The space This fully renovated home offers modern comfort with spacious accommodations. It features two full sized bedrooms—one with a queen bed and another with a king bed—plus a third bedroom with a versatile convertible bed that can be set up as either a single or a king. The third room has a desk space for keeping on top of things. The home comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The living room is designed for relaxation, featuring a cozy sectional sofa and additional seating, perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. A 60-inch TV with Roku Express 4K provides access to various streaming options. Situated in The Pocket, a niche Toronto neighborhood with no through-streets, traffic is minimal, creating a peaceful urban retreat. Parks surrounding the area further enhance the quiet, community-oriented atmosphere. For entertainment, the home is conveniently located near three major venues: Danforth Music Hall, History, and The Opera House. The Danforth Music Hall is within walking distance—something we’ve done ourselves—while the other two are just a short drive away, all within 3 km. The walkability score for the home is 95, meaning everything you need you can access without a vehicle. The kitchenette is fully equipped for any level of cooking, featuring brand-new, high-end stainless steel appliances, including a microwave, hood fan, and stove. Guests have options for coffee and espresso with both Keurig and Nespresso machines. Every piece of dishware, cutlery, and cookware is brand new. A large dining table seats six, while a breakfast bar at the island provides additional seating for three, making it easy to enjoy meals together or grab a quick bite. There is a backyard space with a small covered deck off the dining room. It’s south facing and gets sun in the morning and throughout the day. It’s perfect for some peace and quiet before you start your day. Access & Parking: Guests enter the home using a digital smart lock with a keypad and access code, which will be provided before check-in at 3:00 PM. For security, a front-door camera and motion lighting are in place. Street parking is available for an additional fee through the City of Toronto (approximately $20 per 24 hours). While finding a spot is usually easy, it’s best/easier to secure one before the typical after works hours. The City strictly enforces permit parking in our neighborhood due to its proximity to the Danforth, so we strongly recommend obtaining your permit before arrival to avoid any stress. The City’s parking process is a bit outdated and requires printing a permit in advance, which we can guide you through before your stay. Guest access This is your own home. It is a semi-detached home, or a duplex, with one shared wall. It has a front door and a back door. Windows in every room. Other things to note Please note this is a non-smoking, non-vaping space and property. No parties. There are parks very nearby, both an off-leash dog park about 350 feet way, and Phin Park less than 50 steps away, where smoking would be more appropriate.
