A 115-acre property set in the scenic beauty of the rugged Byfield mountains, Castle Rock farm borders the Byfield National Park ¿ home to the famous Byfield fern, crystal clear streams and nature walking trails. The property once a tropical fruit farm is now a place of peace and tranquility where our guests can walk amongst the rolling lawns and gardens and pick their breakfast from the fruit in season. The space The Eco Deck is situated at the rear of the complex up amongst the treetops and nestled between two small creeks which flow in the wet season. With views over the farm and the National Park makes it a great space to curl up in bed and watch the world go by. The Eco Deck runs totally off solar, with batteries allows 12v lighting and phone charging. Totally off grid and surrounded by rainforest where you will be woken by the sunrise over beautiful 5 rocks National Park or the call of the colorful Woompoo Pidgeon. It has a selection of Double and Single swag tents making it an ideal area for the lone traveler on a budget, families or larger groups wanting a unique experience they can share together. Our Single Swag tents sleep one comfortably. Being of canvas construction makes them cool in summer and warm in winter. Every panel is able to be opened to allow you to experience the great outdoors. Your canvas castle is fitted with all linen, towels, pillows and donnas in winter. They are fully screened, and a rechargeable fan is available for the warm summer nights. A compost toilet and outdoor shower completes the eco deck. There is a short walk to the communal bush kitchen which has fridge, freezer, hot water, tea and coffee, BBQ, gas cooktop and all cutlery and crockery. Dining is outdoor under the cover deck. A covered firepit great for the cold winter nights. Parking is onsite.
