Leyburn Town, off street parking with EV charger

Your own private lounge heated all day during cold months. 5 mins walk to centre of Leyburn. EV charger. Park on private drive. Very quiet location. Private shower room. Choice of 14 breakfasts with home made bread (can do gluten free) see list under other details to note. Coffee/tea available all day. Nespresso machine. Guest fridge. I no longer have cats. The space It is a 40+ year old bungalow which I have recently had extended. Your bedroom is a double bedroom and you will have sole use of the shower room that also contains a washbasin and loo - dedicated but not en-suite. You will have private use of what I call my snug - see pictures and your tailored breakfast will be served in this room. There is a guest fridge in the hall for you to store drinks/sandwiches and there is also tea/coffee making facilities including a Vertuo Nespresso machine. N.B. My kitchen is not available for guest use. Guest access Via the shared front door which faces the gravel drive and has a courtyard area in front of it. My home is NOT suitable for wheelchairs. During your stay I live in the property and will be there during your stay. I am a social person but respect guests who are less so. Other things to note Polite Notice 1: PLEASE alter the filter to TWO adults when booking for a couple as the price is different for one person. I can't alter the number to two you would have to cancel and rebook if you make a mistake. Polite Notice 2: Please don't send a request to book until you are fully registered on airbnb with your government ID as this blocks other valid airbnb members from booking and I will simply decline your request. Polite Notice 3: NO PETS see house rules, please don't ask. Food allergies/intolerances: I eat a lot of nuts especially peanuts so please don't book if you are allergic to nuts. I can cater for Coeliacs, I can make gluten free bread (see reviews). EV charging is at the same rate that I am charged by Octopus, currently 22.39p/kWh this may change so feel free to check with me. I am able to measure the units discharged via 'myenegi' app. I am not wanting to make a profit from this facility/service but I would appreciate payment as soon as is feasible after the charge ends (overnight the next morning or on the day the charge ends) by either cash or electronic transfer not by cheque and not leaving it till last moment on the day you check out. I keep my bungalow at a temp of 20C overnight and 20-22C during the day with my airsource heat pump heating so it is never cold in my home - not even on the cooler days in the summer months. I don't use a tumble dryer as I am keen on trying to protect the environment so towels provided are not fluffy. I also don't provide toiletries for the same reason please bring your own, however if you should forget you are very close to shops, Co-op is open everyday. It is a house rule to use BOTH duckboards in the shower tray as it is hazardous not to do so. Without them you could fall and not only seriously hurt yourself but also damage my shower which you would have to pay for. There is a hairdryer in the bedroom and there is loan of a shower cap. There is a fridge for your use where you will find milk and ice cubes. Large enough for storing your cold drinks and sandwiches. Nespresso and instant coffee along with tea and milk is available all day during your stay. Quiet time is between 11pm and 7pm. Please bring your slippers and leave your outdoor shoes at the front door. No smoking or vaping in the home, there is a covered area in my back garden if you need somewhere sheltered to smoke/vape - just ask and I will show you. Please allow time when you arrive for me to show you the layout of the bungalow (one guest didn't and entered my bedroom by mistake at 1am) . If you want to drop off luggage in the morning please ask I am usually around. All BREAKFASTS include fruit juice/fresh fruit/poached dried fruit salad, homemade bread*, preserves, tea/coffee *can make a white gluten free loaf but sorry not the English or marmalade muffins and choose from the following: 1. FULL ENGLISH - bacon, black pudding, sausage, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, scrambled/fried/poached egg and a rosti potato cake if you would like 2. CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUFFLE with tomatoes, ham or bacon. 3. SMOKED SALMON with scrambled egg 4. EGGS BENEDICT homemade muffin/poached egg/hollandaise sauce with bacon/ham 5. EGGS ROYALE as above but with smoked salmon instead of bacon/ham 6. EGGS FLORENTINE with spinach instead of smoked salmon/bacon/ham 7. DEVILLED MUSHROOMS mushrooms served in a creamy piquant sauce (Creme Fraiche/Dijon/garlic mustard/worcestershire sauce/paprika and parsley) on hot buttered toast can have an egg with this 8. BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST banana, maple syrup and cinnamon see photo 9. PORRIDGE SPECIALS - apple/cinnamon/sultanas or apricot/pecans/honey or almonds/prunes/vanilla - all can be served with cream and a boiled egg to follow. 10. BLT or plain sausage or plain bacon sandwich with homemade MARMALADE MUFFINS. 11. OMELETTE - cheese/ham/mushroom or eggs any which way. 12. KEDGEREE smoked haddock/egg/onion/rice/ mild curry flavoured (for two people only) 13. SCRAMBLED TOFU made with nutritional yeast, Kala Namak, red peppers, fresh spinach served on toasted bread. 14. PANCAKES - 4 choices: a) compote of berries with creme fraiche or Greek yogurt b) dried fruit salad, (poached), toasted almonds with creme fraiche/Greek yogurt c) maple syrup and crispy bacon d) banana, chocolate sauce*, roasted pine nuts with creme fraiche/Greek yogurt *Waitrose no1 santa domingo chocolate dessert sauce IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SUNDAY EVENING EATING OUT: If you are intending to eat at either the "The Black Swan" or "The Golden Lion" please do check with them first that they will be serving food and at what time. The Sandpiper is closed The two Indian restaurants "Saffron" and "Royal Spice" are both open. "The Three Horseshoes" at Wensley is a 1.9 mile walk from my home (good quality 'pub grub' ) and is always open on a Sunday evening - they have a large car park. Both "The Wensleydale Heifer" at West Witton and "The Blue Lion" at East Witton are open, please book to be sure of a table. They are high end dining and I recommend you check tripadvisor for latest reviews as you will not be having a cheap meal.
