Giffords Hall, Hartest, Garden Annex

The Garden Annex has its own entrance, behind the Hall, and overlooks the garden and vineyards beyond. Privately tucked away, with its own small patio and seating, its ideal for visiting the Vineyard for vineyard tours/wine tasting though the garden gate. Vineyard shop and winery, cafe open for tours. Room fridge has tea/coffee/ breakfast items. Good pubs walking/bike distance. Many local attractions, pretty traditional village & stunning country. E-Bike hire and laundry facilities on request. The space Giffords Hall is an attractive Georgian House, originally 18thC surrounded by its own grounds. The garden opens out to woodland, orchard, and paddocks for horses and rare breed sheep, and a working Vineyard open for tours and winetastings complete with a shop and P/t cafe for visitors. The Garden annex is set behind the Hall connected to the back, but with its own private entrance. The annex building also has a laundry room which guests may use on request. The Garden room has underfloor heating and is cosy even in winter. In summer the patio doors open onto a small private area with seating and table to enjoy the garden and the sunset. The garden is private and the owners do have dogs. Guests may bring a dog under private arrangement as long as they comply fully with our dog rules. Guest access Guests have private parking by the Annex and their own entrance. There is a small patio with seating. Access to the vineyard for tours and tastings is easily available through the garden gate with a key code on request, but the gardens themselves are private. The owners have two dogs. Access to the laundry room on request. Other things to note We hope you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Any breakfast item or beverage requests should be arranged a week prior to your stay and likewise, please ask us about bringing your pet. We cant accept pets unless prior arrangements have been made.
