Home in Brevard

This practical and roomy four to five bedroom home is just 15 minutes to all the action here in Brevard. Great for families of all ages. Lots of space to do whatever or nothing at all. Nestled on the French Broad River, we are right next door to the Pisgah Nat'l Forest, Dupont State Park, and downtown Brevard. We are sorry to say that due to health concerns for certain family members, we can not allow family dogs inside our house. The space On the main floor, there is a full kitchen and an attached dining room with seating for 14, and a den with seating for 8+. Enjoy dining on the deck and watching the beautiful Blue Ridge scenery. Also on the main floor is the master bedroom with a queen bed and full bath as well as a 2nd room with a double bed and access to another full bath. Upstairs are two + bedrooms with another full bath. Bedroom one has a queen and can fit extra sleepers on an inflatable mattress. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a set of california twin temper-pedics. There is also plenty of room for extra sleepers on inflatable mattresses. The large hallway has 2 singles. The basement has a "man cave" in half of it. It has a sectional couch with plenty of seating so you can spread out around the house. There is 55" inch 4k smart tv, a PS5, a "pop a shot" dual goal basketball arcade game, pingpong table, a Dynamo foosball table, dart board and fridge. We have a huge yard with room for a football or baseball game. There is an above ground pool that is usually open during summer break. We do not have life vests for the little ones. There is no lifeguard, so all guests must must use great caution when little ones are around. All guests swimming in the pool or river swim at their own risk. A concrete pad for basketball, street hockey, etc. is available. There is a small sandbox for the little ones to build castles, etc. We also live next to the river access so you can easily canoe/kayak from the headwaters of the French Broad river to the nearby access and walk or drive 200 yds to the house. On the property, there is access to swimming, fishing, or exploring the French Broad River. There are no lifeguards available, so please be careful and "swim at your own risk." There is plenty of shaded seating on the front porch as well as the plenty of shaded area on the back deck where the views at the evening are wonderful. Guest access Guests have full access to house and amenities as well as the dock area at river. You have access to our fishing poles if you'd like to try catching trout down at the river. There is access to wading in the river. There is a creek on the property that ties into the main river. Other things to note There are two smaller cute Rottie/Shepherd dogs and an outside cat. You can easily get to the dogs but they cannot come into main playing areas via the invisible fence. They will be taken care of by the neighbors. We have treats for them so you can get acquainted easily. We have had great responses from previous guests about how well they have done.
