Backwoods Annexe is a self-contained, ground-floor holiday let set within secluded countryside adjoining Exmoor National Park, offering lovely views. It sleeps up to 4 guests and comprises a hall, kitchen with dining table, spacious lounge, one bedroom with a king-size bed, and a shower room. The space The lounge has large windows and patio doors leading out to a level patio with garden furniture, and features three sofas, one of which converts into a double sofa-bed (GBP 5 per night payable for use, including linen). A single folding bed is also available for flexible sleeping arrangements, and there is room in the bedroom for a travel cot (not provided). The shower room has a spacious cubicle, toilet and hand basin. Access throughout is level, with just one step over the threshold at the entrance and patio doors. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, under-counter fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere, along with cookware, utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is a TV with Freeview, wifi throughout, and central heating, with electricity and heating costs included in the price. Bed linen and towels are provided for the main bedroom, with extra linen for the sofa-bed available at GBP 5 per night. Outside, a level patio area with garden furniture sits directly outside the property, surrounded by fields and backing onto the hills. Off-road parking is available for up to 2 cars on the drive beside the property. The owners live in the main house next door and are on hand if needed. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome at no extra charge, though pets are not permitted on beds or furniture; dog crates can be provided if required. Children are welcome but should be supervised due to steep terrain and other features nearby. The property is all on one level and may suit those with restricted mobility, though it is not wheelchair accessible.
