Sunset Shack on Schomberg

You and your family will be situated in the heart of Peterborough, within walking distance to everything this sleepy town has to offer. Overlooking the golf course and taking in the beautiful sunsets over Wild Dog Cove. This is a perfect example of a typical Peterborough beach shack - simple and basic, but full of character and sweet, lazy-day beach vibes. Due to it's low key nature, this property is budget friendly and provides great value for your next seaside getaway. The space Perfectly suited for a family, this basic and simple beach house has everything within a short walk. Beaches, golf course, playground, river, fishing, walking, bike riding, tennis, kayaking and exploring. The property has a wonderfully large backyard with plenty of space for the kids to play or to park a boat. Peterborough is a peaceful, sleepy seaside town that comes alive in the summer months. There is a Pub, a small general store and a takeaway. Unfortunately, we are not currently pet friendly. Please note that we don't have a BBQ. We do have an oven and cooktop, microwave, and all the basics you would find such as kettle, toaster and fridge. As the bathroom is external to the rest of the house, it is perfect for washing away the sand after your day at the beach. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, and large backyard, and while it is set up for guests to enjoy a comfy and relaxing stay, please keep in mind that the owners also use the property from time to time so some of their belongings remain at the house. Other things to note The house (in fact Peterborough in general) is home to an abundance of wildlife, and this includes snakes and lizards as well as bugs, insects, spiders and ants. You may, at times, encounter a lizard or snake on the property. If you have kids with you, it is your responsibility to keep an eye out. As Peterborough has limited TV reception, there is currently no free-to-air channels. However, we do provide a smart TV and Wi-Fi. If you have a Netflix account you will be able to log in with your details. Also, please note that there is only one bathroom with one toilet. There is no vanity. The bathroom and laundry are located out the back door and not directly inside the home. As we are next to the Golf course, please drive into the yard and park by the backdoor to avoid any stray golf balls from hitting your vehicle (which has been known to happen).
