Welcome to Volvent, where the wind blows 😁, one of the best places in Europe to sleep well 😁 Volvent is a small village of 40 inhabitants, where silence and tranquility reign, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities. A very nice place to recharge your batteries, in the middle of the mountains and lavender fields. If you are looking for peace, you are at the end of the world. HOUSEHOLD WASTE The garbage cans are common to the entire village. They are located at the entrance of the village towards La Motte Chalancon from Volvent. The garbage bags are therefore to be disposed of as is in the corresponding sorting bins. SHOPPING / GAS STATION The first gas station (24 hours a day) is located in Rémuzat (30 minutes by car from Volvent), Die or Crest (1 hour by car from Volvent) towards Valence. The first electric charging station (24-hour eborne network) is in La Motte Chalancon at the village parking lot 15. Small supermarkets in La Motte Chalancon (20-minute drive from Volvent) and Rémuzat (30-minute drive from Volvent) Pharmacy and tobacco located in Rémuzat (30-minute drive from Volvent) Hypermarket located in Valence (1h30 by car from Volvent) Lidl or Intermarché in Die (1 hour from Volvent) WINTER In winter, you will need to provide chains or snow tires.
