Beech nut shepherds hut

The shepherds hut is set half a mile back from the roadside and our guests appreciate the total immersion into the countryside away from traffic, excess light and noise, the stargazing is fantastic here. You will hear barn owls, the donkeys mooching round the paddock and greeting you with an eeeeorrr when you get up. The hut is the perfect place to soak up the peace and detox from fast living The space The hut is set in an old apple orchard, it is cozy and warm in the colder months, being quick to heat up with the stove and lovely in the warmer months to leave the stable door half open to enjoy the fresh air. A wonderful addition is the hot tub, we have a local company who will come and set it up for you. It is £90 extra per two nights with iced Prosecco included. To let you know about the practicalities of your stay: The toilet / shower room is a short walk across the orchard and situated in the utility room of the farm house. The utility room also houses your private fridge, microwave, washing up sink, toaster, kettle, bread maker and slow cooker. The family don’t use the space or facilities but do use it as an entrance / exit. There is a fire pit next to the hot tub, we provide the first logs, matches and fire starters, you can purchase more should you wish from the Bata garage five minutes down the road. Please feel free to bring your own bbq disposable or otherwise. The hut sleeps two adults comfortably. There is a day bed which is suitable for a child.
