Description
Nestled in a 1900 red brick building, this top-floor retreat blends historic charm with modern comfort. Relax in the open kitchen and living room featuring two fireplaces, old wood accents, and a hammock stretched across wooden beams. Large windows invite natural light and serene countryside views, even on rainy days. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy your glas of wine by the fire. The space Through the spacious and historic hallway, you’ll reach an open space living area and kitchen on the upper floor. Three big windows look out to the south providing a lot of daylight even during the gloomiest of winters. Rest here on the spacious Sofa in front of fire place one, or chill in the kitchen in front of fire place two. There’s a small bathroom with a shower, next to a bedroom with a sliding door (please note the sliding door is more for visual purposes than anything else; you’ll hear things). Two tiny box rooms with real, creaky, charming doors can be found here as well which both have a bed and an additional mattress that could sleep a second person in each of the two tiny box rooms. Over a steep staircase you’ll finally reach a triangular loft area with a huge 180cm wide double bed but no doors at all. This is also how you’ll reach the hammock like net where you can relax or stargaze through the roof window (should it not rain). There’s also an area filled with books and games, so should you find that you brought only boring books with you, we got you. Please note that this apartment is located on the top floor and there is another apartment that we're renting out on the ground floor (it has a separate entrance). We ask every guest to respect their neighbours and not be too loud after 10pm. The shower and bathroom is not really build for people taller than 180cm. If you’re a bit taller expect to be careful not to bang your head (even though everyone needs to watch their heads when entering the bathroom unless you’re not tall at all, which is fine too). Guest access You have the entire upper space all for yourself. Please respect the neighbours below your apartment. There's a garden behind the house that is private and belongs to the lower apartment. There’s a small, yet unfinished garden next to the house, with chairs and a small table. Let us know if you’d like to use it and we’ll explain more. Other things to note If you booked for 4 people and need 4 different beds, please let us know in advance. Otherwise we assume two sleep in the double bed (bedroom 1) and the other two in two separate beds (bedroom 2 & 3). There’s a 4th loft space that is generally not bedded if you only book for 4 people.
