This lovely private setting in VT, (Glamping Style) is a romantic spot in nature.Follow a path down to the river for a skinny dip. A cozy teardrop camper is perfect for 2. The interior provides a double bed, 2 reading lights ,USB ports, and an electric roof fan. A sweet kitchen, located at the back of the camper has electricity and is outfitted with all u need to create a meal, including a small refrigerator. A Propane stove top for cooking. Guests provide their own sheets,pillows and towels. The space Summer is here. Escape to Vermont tranquility. Are you tired of work & traffic? Looking for an vacation or a weekend away, from noise, people, and waiting in lines for ice cream, parking, a ferry or dinner? We have a peaceful riverfront retreat just waiting for you. Travel just 5 miles over the Massachusetts border along route 112 and start to feel the stress fade away, as you enter the iconic Green Mountains of Vermont. Our state is known for fresh air, sweeping meadows and many bodies of water to recreate in. Our country property offers only 1 site, all to yourself, with all the best features of Glamping. The cozy teardrop camper is perfect for 2. The camper is powered by electricity. There are 2 reading lights to each side of the double bed, USB ports, and a roof fan for those warm summer nights. Guests must supply their own sleeping bags, pillows and towels. To the back of back of the camper one can access a sweet kitchen complete with dishes, cooking utensils, and a tiny refrigerated electric cooler. An outdoor sink is located close to the camper for dish clean up. Adjacent to the camper, a covered picnic table with mosquito netting, provides a comfortable spot for dining with a propane cooktop. Amenities Include a hot and cold outdoor shower. A private bathroom, a short walk from the camper, with its own private entrance,has a sink and flush toilet and shelves for your bathing items. Meander down to the river on a semi wooded private path to and enjoy a dip in the water or have a relaxing afternoon sunbathing and listening to nature. A picnic table with umbrella and Adirondack chairs are provided for guests comfort. Occasionally you may encounter naturist friendly owners or their guests at the river. Off Property The property is located 6 miles from the Ledges, a famous nude area located on Harriman reservoir. Folks have gathered here to enjoy swimming and sunning, au natural for decades. Services in Jacksonville include a gas station, bakery, groceria and a casual dining spot called Jax on Tap. Travel 8 miles further into Wilmington to discover many unique shops and a variety of dining options. Guest access The camper is set in a quiet spot to the north side of the owners home. A gazebo like structure covers the picnic table with screens for dining comfort from bugs or weather. The outdoor shower is located on our deck to the rear of the house & guests may relax there. All of the property to the back of our home , down to the river, can be enjoyed. Other things to note We are a one site glamping experience. This is not a campground. Guests bring their own beverages, food and ice. We do not allow guests to have their own bonfires. We do have a fireplace pit area and if we have a fire going, you may be invited to join us. Quiet hours requested from 10PM to 8AM. We are the former owners of Abbott's Glen Resort for 18 years. Retired now but still enjoy naturist hospitality.
