Description
We are located amidst charming and green Cardamom plantations with lush trees surrounding us. Wake up to the chirping of birds and sound of water bodies nearby. Our co-host Ashin's mom prepares fresh Pala-Idukki cuisine at her kitchen, which could be served on request. A guided plantation walk among the lush plantations and some secret local spots if you may wish to. Other things to note Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided upon request for an additional charge. All the food is home cooked by our co-host Ashin's mom in her kitchen. To note: Most of the vegetables and fruits are hand picked from our home garden/ sourced locally from small scale farmers. Here is a rough menu: Disha Plantation Resort Menu: *Breakfast:* Options: 1. Appam with Vegetable stew/ Pala style egg curry with coconut milk 2. Dosa/Idli with coconut chutney and Sambar 3. Puttu with Black Chickpea curry and steamed plantain/locally sourced ripe banana 4. Tea/ Coffee Rs 150/- per person And Fruits cut Egg (boiled) Bread with butter/jam Rs 200/- per person *Lunch - Meals* Options: 1. Vegetable meals - Rice of your choice (Kerala red matta rice/ Ponni white rice) - at least 2 native Kerala *curry* dishes like Erissery (Pumpkin and lentil stew)/ Pachadi/ Kichadi/ Olan/ Pulissery( spiced butter milk curry with coconut base) - *chosen based on available veggies* - dry vegetable dish like Aviyal/ thoran made from seasonal locally sourced vegetables - home made pickles/ Disha special home grown Mango Ginger chammanthi/papad Rs 250/- per person 2. Non veg Fish curry meals - All the vegetable dishes mentioned in the Veg meals section - Kerala style fish curry made with coconut milk - Kerala style fish fry Rs 400/- per person If you may need Prawns/ King fish/ other specific sea food, charges may vary according to market rates. *Dinner:* Options: 1. Vegetable Salad, Mushroom soup, Chapati (home cooked from scratch)+ Egg curry Rs 200/- per person 2. Vegetable Salad, Mushroom soup, Chapati ( home cooked from scratch)+ Rice + Kerala style Nadan Chicken curry, vegetable dish, Nutmeg fruit & coconut chutney, home made pickle Rs 350/- per person 4. Vegetable Salad, Mushroom soup, Chapati ( home cooked from scratch)+ Rice + Beef dry roasted/curry + vegetable stir fry + moru curry Rs 400/- per person 5.
