The Fake Palace

No matter what motive brought you to this corner of the Somontano: stay - as a couple, with family or friends - in “La fals de Palacio”, a tourist apartment located in the fake (attic) of a traditional house in the area and enjoy the tranquility that surrounds it. The space "La fals de Palacio" is on the second floor of Casa Palacio, a typical Somontanese house of Buera, nice village at the foot of the southern slope of the Sierra de Guara. The apartment is spacious and you will find tranquility and comfort in it. The house is more than two centuries old and on the ground floor (around the entrance patio) there are many elements characteristic of the traditional construction of the area: winery, trujares, block, pile and underground storage for oil storage. The patio is enlosado and a part of the ceiling shows the traditional cane. The tourist accommodation is part of a family project of rehabilitation of the house, which wants to contribute to the value of these little/great treasures of the "Spain emptied". Next objective: adaptation as a rear outdoor patio of the old corrals (which look out to the public washrooms).
