Several chickens roam around the ranch. A small dog (Modelo. yes, as in the beer :)) too. Park up to 5 cars. More parking in the street. Ideal to spend the night or a month. The space This home was built is he early 1900s. It used to be working ranch. The house is on a septic system and has a low flow system. Even though the kitchen sink has a garbage disposal, we ask that you do not put food down the sink. in addition, we kindly ask not to flush any paper, wipes or other hygiene products down the toilet. The home is in a ranch. It has its own entrance and there is a fence around the house for your privacy. There are other ranches around the area. Some even have live stock. The smell in the area depends on the time of day and season. The mess can be of a combination of earthy, animal-related, and sometimes hay or feed-related scents. The manure and the breakdown of organic matter from the ranches around the area sometimes can reach this house. Mosquito and flies also depend on the time of year Please do not wat bare foot outside. Depends on the time of year, there may be goatheads (those mini thorn thingies from the weeds that stick to the bottom of your shoes). If you or your four-legged companion walk barefoot outside, you may experience a painful encounter with devilish thorns goatheads. There is a shoe rack inside the house, by the main door, for you to place your shoes in case you do to want want to carry goadheads inside the house inadvertently. If you bring the goadhead inside the house, anyone walking barefoot inside the house will find out!! Nettle, a stubborn plant, grows around the house (also depends on the season). It looks innocent, like mint! It is not!! The leaves are oval, coarsely toothed, with a pointed tip and a heart-shaped base, and they are covered in stinging hairs that cause a painful reaction when touched. The sting is their natural way to protect themselves. If the plant comes into contact with your skin, you will have a burning or stinging sensation. Your skin may get irritated. The sensation and irritation tend to go away after a few minutes. On less painful note, there is rollaway bed is available for the 7th guest. Please let us know in advance that you need us to set up the rollaway bed and if you need us to set up privacy curtains around the rollaway bed. Otherwise the bed will be folded in the common area.
