18 South End, Stromness a charming 1800's, 4 star cottage set right on the sea with its own private garden pier, slipway and parking. It has a 180 degree view over the sea, through big windows with stunning views of sunrises and passing vessels. We also have 4 other Cottages right on the sea, a 1- bedroom, 2-bedroom and three-bedroom and another 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom Cottage. Each Cottage is equipped with absolutely everything including a Cook's Larder, big selection of teas, coffees etc. The space The whole Cottage is for your use. There are 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms. On the garden pier there is a seperate suite with its own entrance, which has a bedroom, en suite bathroom and a little lounge of its own overlooking the garden and sea. So if one couple in your group wants a bit of privacy from the other guests in your group - this is nice to use for them. Guest access You have access to the whole property including nice benches and tables on the garden pier where you can enjoy relaxing or have a family meal enjoying being right on the sea. There is also a slipway if you would like to bring your boat with you. You can also access the little stony beach at low tide - fun for the children to explore! Great views of fishing boats and the impressive Hamnavoe passing regularly past the cottage. Other things to note You are nice and close to the Golf Club - in close walking distance. It is also right on the sea. Also bring your binoculars with you - so much to see as you look out at the various passing fishing boats and diving boats. Orkney is very well known for its diving, almost right throughout the year. The Cottage is perfect if the weather is bad. It is very cozy with great views of the sea in any weather!
