Serene Horse Stable

Escape to this fabulous horse stable retreat sitting on 60 acres. Surrounded by Lake George forest offers endless trails from the Stables and tens of thousands of acres for hiking or riding. 1 stable and private pasture are included with your stay, so bring your horse. Unwind in the serene living room and glance outside at the pastures that surround you. Crystal clear artesian spring well water fills the tub or your coffee pot. Step outside and breathe in the fresh air of this peaceful location. The space 2 story apartment occupies the back half of the stables. Heat and AC keeping your comfortable up or down. Full bathroom with tub on the 1st level. Living room has a large sectional that converts to a queen sleeper bed. The full kitchen allows you to cook your tasty treats instead of running out. If you bring your horse there are a few stables to choose from and a pasture. Guest access The entire building is for use minus two storage rooms. You are also permitted to walk the entire property. Please just be courteous around the main house and pole barn. If you want to get courageous jump in our cold water spring fed dunk tank. Also fresh eggs daily for all guests ! Other things to note If you have stayed with us in the past its time to return and see all the changes ! Please note, the stable does not have wifi at this time. there is a TV and we are happy to supply dvd player and movies upon request. Please note that we do have a 100lb Great Pyrenees dog. His name is Rocky and although he is large he is a sweetheart. He usually stays near the main house but he is our security guard for the entire farm and occasionally will want to scare a chicken, racoon, or possom away from the stalls. Again he is very friendly and may want to go say hi by barking at you while wagging his tail. He is more shy than anything and will not approach or jump on you at all.
