The Oyster Catchers Retreat - relax in the Sounds

Room for all the family to spread out and relax in our comfortable family holiday home. Captures the cool summer breeze and is set well for the sunshine. Warm in the winter by the wood burner. Indoor outdoor flow with views of the sea. Perfect getaway without being too far removed from town facilities if you want them. Great for water sports and boat launching nearby, swimming and picnic spots a short stroll away. Close to the Queen Charlotte track. Flat ground for tents with ample parking. The space As a large family we find there is room on the property to be spread out and find our own peaceful spot. Four good sized bedrooms with wardrobes, fourth bedroom is a queen bed sleepout (no wardrobe). Flat area’s around the property for tenting. Bring your own bed linen (sheets and pillow cases) and towels. Or choose to have these included for an additional fee of $10 per person. Set amongst beautiful trees and flat lawns, you’ll delight in the bird song. Unlike many Sounds properties this retreat is all on flat ground with ample parking. A small stream flows through the boundary of the property. Set back approximately 200m from the beachfront. Fish cleaning area. Bring your surf casting rod. Guest access Entire home available to guests. Garage and parking area onsite. Tent space available upon request, additional costs for more than 7 guests at $20 per night per person. Other things to note As the property has access to a small stream, child supervision is required. Basic pantry foods available for your use. We welcome replacements if they are used.
