Bryce is a four-seasons resort. Enjoy swimming, tennis, fishing, mountain biking, zip lining, golf in summer, ski in winter. Ground floor level is our rec room with full bathroom. Feel free to use our pinball machine! Enjoy football Sundays in our Redskins themed rec room. HTTR! We have board games and movies and cable TV for your enjoyment on rainy days or after sundown. Up one flight of stairs to the main floor - two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining and living spaces. Up one more flight of stairs to the master suite with it's own full bath. Ground floor and main floor have spacious decks to enjoy the great outdoors. We have a gas grill on the main floor deck for your use. I do not live on property and will not be present during your stay. Quiet neighborhood near Lake Laura. If you continue down Orkney Grade Road toward the resort turn off, there is a gas station and a small market. You can get most anything at the market in terms of groceries, snacks and beverages. There is parking for up to four vehicles on premises, please do not park on the narrow street. "The Duke Den" is just 30 minutes from James Madison University. Great space for families to stay for Parents Weekend, Football Weekends and Graduation events! Also conveniently located for music lovers wanting to attend the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival! 2019's performance dates are 7/19, 7/20, 7/26, 7/27, 8/9, 8/10, 8/31 and 9/1.
