Carriage Room

The Carriage Room is a unique one bedroom apartment located in the carriage house of a 150 year old historic home in Peru. Located just 3 blocks from downtown, it's close to everything and easy to plan your visit. The space The Carriage Room is located on the second floor of the carriage house. You will find an open concept kitchen and living room. Kitchen has an island with two bar stools. The bedroom has a queen size bed and full bathroom with shower and separate soaker tub. Guest access Guests have access to the Carriage Room apartment on the 2nd floor of the carriage house. You will have to climb steps to access the apartment. Please know that there is a second apartment directly across the hall that is also available for rent. One parking spot is available on the driveway for each apartment. Street parking is available for additional vehicles. The garages and main house are not available to guests. Other things to note My family and I purchased this historic home after it had been neglected for 20 years. We are currently in the middle of a major renovation and restoration of the property. Please know that you will at times see work trucks and equipment on the property. Work may take place Monday-Friday between 8:30am-4:30pm. The apartments in the carriage house were one of our first completed projects. Your stay with us contributes to our current and future restoration efforts.
