Description
Fabulous views over the sea to Laphroaig distillery. Skandi design with serious luxury for one couple to escape to Isle of Islay tranquility (the Queen of the Hebrides). Frequent visitors are Golden Eagles and Hen Harriers. Come and relax in style. The space Nestled in to the hillside this architect designed accommodation has expansive views across to Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen, mainland Argyll and Ireland. The views are a constant source of pleasure always changing as the light and weather change. Attention to comfort is paramount with cosy underfloor heating, goose down duvet and wood burning stove so that even in the worst of weather it’s possible to snuggle down! In glorious weather the doors can be left wide open with an outdoor table for barbecuing and eating Al Fresco. In the kitchen top of the range Miele oven, induction hob and Tapenyaki mean that all Islay’s wonderful larder can be cooked with delicacy and precision. We want your Islay experience to live long in the memory so we have tried to think of everything! Guest access The accommodation is reached via a private road, the last half mile of which is untarmaced, but is accessible by all vehicles except low slung supercars. The space is all yours with parking and easy access to the accommodation. We are resident next door and so are discretely on hand if needed. Other things to note If you are coming to Islay by ferry with a vehicle you should always book in advance with Caledonian McBrayne. Or you can fly with Logan Air. Registration Details AR00767F
