Calling all wanderers, and storytellers! The Raconteur Lodge is a unique property consisting of FOUR individual units that all share one roof. It's the perfect place to go with friend groups, other couples, or extended family where proximity is ideal, but personal space is still king! This concrete and adobe paradise conjures “Oaxaca meets Marfa” vibes. The backyard and Paddle Club is the common gathering space. Each unit has it's own king room, bathroom, and kitchen, but is still unique! The space Bohemio is a realm where the boundaries between hotel, hacienda, and homestead blur, crafting an unparalleled sojourn. We’ve introduced a casual kind of luxury to Marfa. Here, on sun-drenched El Paso Street, within walking distance to Judd’s work at Chinati, a stone’s throw from the Saint George Pool and Bar, many restaurants, galleries, retail stores, landmarks, and watering holes.. each of the unique suites and villas successfully optimize the city’s abundant desert breezes and natural light, while the interior design finds inspiration in the organic tones, materials and textures of the local surroundings. This place is perfect for a family retreat, or a group of pickleball enthusiasts...just imagine. Guest access Guests will be given an individual access code for each of the (4) units. Other things to note Bohemio beckons guests with the only private backyard, and pickleball courts in far west Texas, a one-of-a-kind setting that includes a wet/dry sauna, outdoor adobe ruins with firepits, trees, shade, and the brightest stars in North America where guests are front-row for sunrises, sunsets, star-gazing and moon watching. Just sit back and enjoy storytelling, and wine-drinking by the fire, or explore the local haunts only steps away. This unique retreat offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing visitors to reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves. Each morning, guests can start their day with a pickleball game or yoga session on the sunlit courts, or relax in the quiet solace of their private outdoor patio. Alternatively, one can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, or coffee down the street with several options available, local coffee and locally-sourced ingredients abound…and if you must work, we have the fastest wi-fi in the west!
