The Little Blue House

The Little Blue House was built in the 50's through Sears and is called a Lustron home. These all-metal homes were in answer to a housing shortage and demand for quick affordable construction. Although many updates have been done over the years most of the original structure remains and gives a feel for the era in which it was built. There is a little slab porch with a view of a park with diamonds, tennis and pickleball courts and a pool w/ splash pad. There is now a fenced back yard with 3 sides contained and the 4th boundary open to the driveway where chairs can be set up near the garage. The simple landscaping is always evolving with seasonal decor added to the slab porch. Fresh paint in the dining area now reflects the exterior as we bring the blue inside. If you are looking to book in the cooler months you may appreciate the dual control heat pads on the beds and the specially selected winter bedding. We keep it simple but enjoy adding little touches of comfort to your stay!
