The space Honey Bear Haven tiny home is 2nd of 3 that is near a trickling creek in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Located back in the woods down a long winding mountain road, you'll find all the conveniences of home. If you aren't a camping person but want a little adventure such as climbing a ladder to bed, this is the place for you. What is Glamping? Glamping is described as an elevated for of camping. Amenities designed for comfort are typically available such as a bed, indoor plumbing, and electricity. Honey Bear Haven is the perfect place to hole up and relax, basking in the natural light that pours through the windows of this airy tiny home. Take the ladder up to the queen loft to let your stress melt away as this is your cozy den for the duration of your trip. Make like a bear and hibernate. The kitchenette offers all you need to prepare simple meals and store snacks that would typically be a bit difficult to enjoy on an ordinary camping trip. For example, your favorite ice cream won't be a soupy mess when you go to dig in since you have a mini fridge for storing all your goodies! The full bathroom with hot water (duration disclaimer below) is of course completely private. A far cry from communal campsite facilities and is stocked with several rolls of TP and a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. This tiny home has a mini split unit to keep the space comfortable, Wi-fi to keep you connected, and a streaming capable TV to keep you entertained between adventures. After long days of exploring North Georgia, take a load off by the campfire or let the jets wash away your worries in the private hottub. We will text you information pertinant to your stay including a link to our booking agreement (shortly after reserving), a link to the property guidebook that includes the address and important directions (3 around days before check in), and the code to the smart lock on the door (around 2:30 pm the day of check in) There are many places to rent a cabin online, but Suches Vacation Rentals doesn't just rent cabins. We provide guided check ins, recommendations on local hikes and sightseeing, and staff on hand from 9am to 9pm to help you with your stay. An electric radiator heater is provided in the cold season and standing air conditioner in the warm season as appropriate. There is a heated mattress pad on the bed in the winter for comfort while sleeping. Service providers ie: Power and Internet can be slow to respond when there are outages or router issues due to the rural nature of our community. Wifi is not as strong as you find in cities and can be more strongly impacted by weather. We will do our best to correct it when it goes out but are at the mercy of the only providers that service Suches. Critters are bound to happen through the area and small ones can even find their way inside seeking shelter from the elements. We have preventative pest services at all of our properties but being located in the forest there will be some visitors. If you are uncomfortable with an occasional spider, beetle, or even sometimes mouse, glamping may not be the adventure for you. Supplies - We provide an initial stock of supplies. These include 1 roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 5 kitchen trashbags, and a new sponge. If you suspect you will need more than this during your stay, you will want to pick up extras with your groceries. Coffee and laundry detergent are not provided. Suches Vacation Rentals operates in a beautiful but very remote area of the North Georgia Mountains. Because professional linen services are not available locally, we personally handle all laundering in-house. We provide one bath towel and wash cloth per guest according to the maximum occupancy of a cabin. If you need extra towels during your stay, just let us know and we’ll do our best to arrange them based on availability. HOT TUB: A high standard of cleanliness is extremely important to us, so our team follows strict guidelines and drains, cleans, and refills the hot tub between every guest. Because of this, the hot tub may still be heating when you arrive. We appreciate your understanding and your help in supporting our efforts to conserve resources and reduce waste while maintaining comfort for every guest. Hot water - The size of the water heater is in proportion with the tiny home. That is to say, it is small, so hot water supply if briefer than locations with larger water heaters.
