Sunset Beach

This cozy three-bedroom cottage on Stoco Lake offers a peaceful lakeside retreat two hours from Toronto. The highlight is its large end-to-end deck, overlooking the beach is perfect for soaking in stunning sunsets over the water. Inside, the cottage features a comfortable living area with a fully equipped kitchen, and 3 bedrooms. Just steps from the beach, enjoy swimming, kayaking, or relaxing by the water. Thank you Guest Count & Additional Guests Please note that your guest count must be accurate at the time of booking. While we are messaging back and forth before your booking is approved, this is the time to let us know if you are planning to bring any additional guests so we can discuss and approve it in advance. Once your booking is confirmed, we are unable to accommodate last-minute changes or additional guests. Please do not arrive with extra guests who were not included in your booking. MAXIMUM 6 guests. Additional guests may be accommodated only with prior approval before booking is confirmed, at $100+per additional guest, per night. Bringing additional guests without our prior approval is a serious violation of our house rules and may result in your stay being terminated and you being required to leave the cottage. No refund will be provided for the remaining portion of your stay. All garbage/recycling must be taken home by guest- there is no garbage or recycling pick up on site. Cottage is to be left as it was upon arrival- indoor and outdoor. All dishes cleaned and put away. Bring beach/ shower towels, and personal items such as toothbrushes, shampoo etc. None of these items are provided. Starter toilet paper provided. Must provide/bring your own propane tank for barbecue. Water is well water, it is potable but recommend bringing your own drinking water. Please do not touch crystals, they are fragile & expensive. NO GLASS on beach/deck. If any of these requirements are an issue, our cottage may not be the right fit for you. These details are clearly communicated before booking so guests know exactly what to expect. We do not have garbage disposal on-site, and we do not provide propane tanks due to past guests not using them responsibly. We appreciate guests respecting these policies and coming prepared. ***water shoes strongly suggested *** We strongly suggest bringing water shoes. The beach gets extremely hot in the summer, and there are rocks both on the beach and in the water. Water shoes will make getting in and out of the lake much more comfortable for both kids and adults. •Please *DO NOT USE* the firewood on the property. Firewood will be available for purchase via e-transfer, must be bought prior to check in. $15 CDN for 10 good sized pieces of wood, you’re welcome to bring your own or pick some up at the gas station/grocery store in town. PETS. Unfortunately, we’ve had a mishap with a pet at the Cottage, and as much as we love our furry family members, we’ve made the difficult decision that we will no longer be allowing pets. Not everyone takes care of or cleans up after their pets, and I just can’t walk into that situation again. We are so sorry, because we completely understand that pets are family members too, but this is something we just can’t continue with. Thank you so much for understanding. Please note: we have recently been doing some renovations and additions around the cottages for Airbnb. There is now a sauna and a bunkie for additional sleeping/people on the property; however, they are not included in this rental price and will not be available for guest use at this time, as pricing had already been set prior to their completion.
