The space What is Glamping? Glamping is described as an elevated for of camping. Amenities designed for comfort are typically available such as a bed, indoor plumbing, and electricity. Fawn's Thicket offers a quiet retreat to nature without needing to get your hands dirty. A firepit and camp grill are outside amenities provided for a camping feel but the private hottub under the string lights offers an elevated experience that you won't find at your average campground. A compact refrigerator, small oven with stovetop, microwave and coffeepot, mean you're not limited to campfire roasted hotdogs for the duration of your trip. You are even able to indulge in your favorite ice cream out on the porch under the tree cover listening to the bird song or watching the fireflies. A full bathroom with hot water (and total privacy) is a luxury you'd have sorely missed had you roughed it and chosen a campground with communal facilities. Even though you are immersing yourself in the beauty of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National forest, you can still connect with the world around you on the complimentary wifi and stream your favorite shows or movies on the tv. We will text you information pertinant to your stay including a link to our booking agreement (shortly after reserving), a link to the property guidebook that includes the address and important directions (3 around days before check in), and the code to the smart lock on the door (around 2:30 pm the day of check in) There are many places to rent a cabin online, but Suches Vacation Rentals doesn't just rent cabins. We provide guided check ins, recommendations on local hikes and sightseeing, and staff on hand from 9am to 9pm to help you with your stay. Don't just book a cabin and get a code for entry, book with Suches Vacation Rentals and we will help you experience the mountains! Other things to note Disclaimers: Temperature control is limited. An electric radiator heater is provided in the cold season and standing air conditioner in the warm season as appropriate. There is a heated mattress pad on the bed in the winter for comfort while sleeping. Service providers ie: Power and Internet can be slow to respond when there are outages or router issues due to the rural nature of our community. Wifi is not as strong as you find in cities and can be more strongly impacted by weather. We will do our best to correct it when it goes out but are at the mercy of the only providers that service Suches. Critters are bound to happen through the area and small ones can even find their way inside seeking shelter from the elements. We have preventative pest services at all of our properties but being located in the forest there will be some visitors. If you are uncomfortable with an occasional spider, beetle, or even sometimes mouse, glamping may not be the adventure for you. Supplies - We provide an initial stock of supplies. These include 1 roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 5 kitchen trash bags, and a new sponge. If you suspect you will need more than this during your stay, you will want to pick up extras with your groceries. Suches Vacation Rentals operates in a beautiful but very remote area of the North Georgia Mountains. Because professional linen services are not available locally, we personally handle all laundering in-house. We provide one bath towel and wash cloth per guest according to the maximum occupancy of a cabin. If you need extra towels during your stay, just let us know and we’ll do our best to arrange them based on availability. HOT TUB: A high standard of cleanliness is extremely important to us, so our team follows strict guidelines and drains, cleans, and refills the hot tub between every guest. Because of this, the hot tub may still be heating when you arrive. We appreciate your understanding and your help in supporting our efforts to conserve resources and reduce waste while maintaining comfort for every guest. Hot water - The size of the water heater is in proportion with the tiny home. That is to say, it is small, so hot water supply if briefer than locations with larger water heaters. Firearms & Weapons Policy: Firearms, ammunition, and other weapons are strictly prohibited on the property. Guests may not bring, possess, store, or use any firearms or weapons anywhere on the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and peaceful environment for everyone.
