Overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of Sommers Bay, the house offers sweeping views towards Norfolk Bay and the rugged Tasman Peninsula. The property features two airy, light-filled bedrooms, each with a private en-suite complete with walk-in showers, underfloor heating, and heated towel rails. Luxurious quilts, plush pillows, and soft towels add to the comfort. For those seeking additional privacy, the garden room—with its own en-suite—is accessed via the garden path. At the heart of the home lies a well-equipped kitchen with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, along with all necessary cookware and utensils. A separate pantry and laundry area house a fridge, freezer, washing machine, and dryer. To start your stay, a tasty breakfast basket is provided, along with coffee and tea. Two sun-drenched verandahs invite you to relax with morning coffee while watching the local wildlife or to unwind in the evening as the sun sets over the water. If you’re eager to explore, the region boasts exceptional wineries, distilleries, and oyster farms, along with the dramatic landscapes of Tasman National Park and the world-heritage-listed Port Arthur Historic Site. Guest access The entire house and garden are for your exclusive use. The main floor of the house, with master bedroom, bathroom, living, dining, kitchen, and verandah spaces, is accessible via a ramp. The garden bedroom and bathroom are accessible via external stairs, so less suitable for guests with mobility issues. Other things to note Artist's Beach House uses precious tank-collected water. Please have water conservation in mind at all times. Please also respect the septic tank system—don't flush anything other than toilet paper and don't put oil or grease down the drains. The house is in a wildlife zone. Please respect the 40 KPH speed limit and take extra care when driving between dusk and dawn.
