Our B&B is centrally located between Friesland Groningen Drenthe and the head of Overijsel in Z O Friesland, ideal for day trips e.g. to Giethoorn Blokzijl Schokland Urk or the nice Drenthe villages of Havelte Dwingeloo Diever Vledder or Borger with the hunebed museum. Visit the wadden coast The beautiful North Groningen landscape or the student city of Groningen with its many restaurants Visit the Frisian 11 Cities, De Friese waddenkust came back, enjoy the peace on the Barre Hichte. The space The property has a hall with sink, shower room and half-bath. The living area has underfloor heating and a small, nice, efficient wood-burning stove, and air conditioning. There is a kitchenette with a Senseo machine and a kettle, tea bags of various flavors and coffee pods available. There is also a small induction hob, a microwave oven, an air fryer and a refrigerator. Furthermore, everything you might expect is available, such as cutlery, glasses, plates, etc. The sleeping accommodation consists of a loft accessible via fixed stairs. There is a 3rd bed in a small adjoining room on the same floor that can be booked for an additional fee. Furthermore, the accommodation is equipped with all comforts such as TV, Wi-Fi, a nice sitting area and a small work/dining table Garden doors with an outdoor seating area and a large terrace with BBQ, free access to the entire property with pond, a back exit that gives access to a hiking trail to the Diaconieveen and the Dellebuursterheide, Bicycles are available at the B&B. Breakfast is not included in the price, but for 15 euros, you will get an excellent breakfast, fresh juice, fresh fruit salad, muesli, organic yogurt, an egg dish of your choice, etc. Guest access in consultation Other things to note Emergency exit is available. The Barre hichte may be less suitable for people with walking difficulties, due to the accessibility of the beds on the Vide, by means of a somewhat steep staircase. Pets are not allowed and the accommodation is for non-smokers only.
