We’ve designed the interiors to feel like a "nest"—a light-filled, airy sanctuary that serves as a quiet contrast to the bustling downtown energy just outside your door. Expect high ceilings, large windows that catch the afternoon sun, and a layout that feels both spacious and intimate. The Space Our apartment is curated for the modern traveler who appreciates character. From the vintage architectural lines to the updated, fully-stocked kitchen, every corner of The Bluebird is maintained with a high standard of cleanliness. We take pride in the "little things"—crisp linens, sanitized surfaces, and a functional flow that makes even a long-term stay feel effortless. Outdoor Living While you are in the heart of the city, you’ll enjoy your own private exterior entrance and a small landing/patio area. It’s a lovely spot to catch a breeze or enjoy a morning coffee before heading out to explore the historic streets of Lancaster. Access to the unit is via a private flight of exterior wooden stairs. They are well-maintained and wide, but please consider this if traveling with heavy luggage or if you have mobility restrictions. In addition, a set of interior stairs are provided for emergency exit. They are standard width and depth, and locked from the apartment side for privacy. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire second-floor apartment. Please note that access requires climbing a flight of exterior stairs. To ensure a seamless arrival, we provide clear check-in instructions and information on nearby well-lit parking. We provide a white noise machine/earplugs to ensure a restful night’s sleep." 🚗 Parking & Logistics City Parking: "We are located in a vibrant, walkable area where street parking is governed by city signs. We will provide a detailed directions with your check-in-in instructions to help you find the private, off-street parking lot in the rear of the property." 🐾 Pet Policy Specifics Furry Friends: "We love pets! We just ask that you keep them off the furniture and never leave them unattended in the apartment unless they are crated. A small pet fee applies to cover the extra deep-cleaning we perform for our next guests." 🌡️ Climate Control Heating & Cooling: "To keep you comfortable year-round, we have central heating and air controlled by a Google Nest thermostat.
