Free Wi-Fi. You will receive your own key and are in the district of Wagen (Rapperswil-Jona) in a beautiful condominium where the owner lives without pets. Your room with private bathroom is for 1 or 2 people. You have a TV in the room. (200 channels/7 days replay). The apartment is rural, quiet and only 6 km from the center of Rapperswil. You have your own free parking space. You can use the kitchen in the morning, the dining area and the garden patio all day. The space Check-in: starting at 2 pm (earlier by appointment). Check-out by 11 am (later by arrangement). If you arrive Monday to Friday before 6 pm, the key is deposited in a key box in the mailbox. For your bedroom, you can choose a temperature between about 19 and 22 degrees during the heating season. Write to me in advance what temperature you want. Just 3 steps from your bedroom is your own bathroom with toilet, bath and shower (see photos). A hairdryer, shampoo, liquid soap and bath additive are provided for free. You can use hand and shower towels free of charge. The kitchen is equipped with a glass ceramic stovetop, dishwasher, oven and a steamer. You are welcome to use the kitchen for breakfast. At noon and in the evening, you can warm something up or, for example, make a salad or pasta with a ready-made sauce. Extensive cooking is not allowed. The Nespresso coffee machine incl. coffee capsules, coffee cream and sugar can be used free of charge. You can use the kettle, toaster and egg cooker. There are 2 shelves in the refrigerator that you can use for your food and drinks. In 4 minutes there is a grocery store (Prima) where you can get the most important things. Also fresh bread and rolls. Open from Mon to Fri: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm, Sat: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. You'll sleep in a queen-sized bed (160 x 200 cm). The spring mattress with memory foam is new (Dec. 2024) and very comfortable. Duvet and pillows are new (Nov 2024) and allergy-friendly (without down). Bed linen and fitted sheet are included. You have your own TV in your room with over 200 channels and 7-day replay function. (Wingo TV (Swisscom)). The center of Rapperswil-Jona with its beautiful old town and the unique lake promenade is only 6 km away. Rapperswil has countless restaurants and cafes for every taste. Wagen is surrounded by forests, just 3 minutes' drive (2 km) from upper Lake Zurich and the ideal starting point for beautiful excursions, hikes and bike tours. The amusement park Atzmännig, the Ricken (cross-country skiing), the Zurich Oberland, Glarnerland, Toggenburg and the Walensee area (e.g. Flumserberg) are easily accessible in a short time. In 2 minutes you are on the A15 highway (formerly called A53). You have your own parking space (50 meters from the house, not covered). The stop "alte Post" of bus line 622 is a three-minute walk from your accommodation. From Monday to Friday, a bus runs directly to the center of Rapperswil-Jona or towards St. Gallen from 5:27 am to 9 pm (Saturdays until 6 pm) every 15 minutes. Gallenkappel or Wattwil. In the evening until after 11 PM every 30 minutes. Sunday until 10 pm. On Friday and Saturday, night buses run until after 3 am. In 53 minutes you can reach Zurich by public transport, in 40 minutes by car. A ping pong table is in front of the house. Rackets and balls can be provided free of charge. A washing machine and dryer are available by arrangement. 1 laundry (30, 40 or 60°C): CHF 5.00. 1 x drying CHF 3.00. You can hang the laundry in the living room area or outside in the fresh air. Guest access You can use the kitchen for your breakfast. You can use the dining room area, the small "bar," the garden patio and the hammock all day long (see photos). You can do your office work at the large dining table. During your stay I can be reached by mobile phone, text message, or email. Other things to note There is no smoking in the apartment.
