Description
Canal Boat Cottage is located within the Brecon Beacons National Park on the banks of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. With wonderful views across the River Usk, Table Mountain, and Sugar Loaf. Crickhowell is within walking distance with its award winning high street & fabulous pubs and restaurants. Canal Boat Cottage is set in an ideal location for exploring the Brecon Beacons with fantastic walking & cycling from the front door or you can just relax & enjoy the views. The space Canal Boat Cottage is located right on the bank of the canal with great views overlooking Crickhowell, Table mountain and Sugar loaf. To make the most of the views the cottage is upside down, the two bedrooms are on the ground floor along with the bathroom, while upstairs is the kitchen and lounge. The kitchen includes a pod coffee machine, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, and everything you would expect in a kitchen. The lounge has a wood burning stove and two comfy sofas to enjoy the views from. Alongside the t.v and dvd player there are books and toys and games for younger visitors On the ground floor bedroom one has a double bed, while bedroom two has two singles. Both rooms have hanging space and drawers. The bathroom has a walk in shower and a double ended bath and twin basins. Outside the garden is accessible from the kitchen and includes a Weber barbecue and a picnic bench beside the apple and cherry trees. The cottage is a 15 minute walk from Crickhowell ( or 3 minute drive), but please be aware we are up a hill. Please note the cottage is a no smoking area Guest access The cottage has its own front door, and back door access to a private garden. There is plenty of room to park outside the cottage for 2+ cars There are also covered areas outside that can be used for bike storage. Other things to note We do welcome well behaved dogs , but do ask that they are kept off the furniture, and are not left along in the cottage. There are pet chickens that have free access to all areas of the garden, they do generally potter around in my garden but can make to the cottage garden, so would ask dog owners to bear them in mind.
