Beautiful countryside views in the centre of picturesque Tawstock, a peaceful, historic village near Barnstaple. Sleeps 6-8 in 3 bedrooms but cosy for smaller groups. Living room and modern farmhouse kitchen open on to raised deck. BBQ area. Parking for 2-3 cars. Close to North Devon beaches, Exmoor, golf, walking, cycling and attractions for kids. A great place for a holiday for all ages. The space Triangle Cottage is a detached, comfortable, well equipped, self-catering cottage at the heart of picturesque and historic Tawstock village. Our holiday cottage sleeps 6-8 (max) in 3 bedrooms but is also cosy for smaller groups. It is centrally heated, double glazed, with fast broadband and on-site parking for 2-3 cars. There are countryside and spectacular sunset views from cottage windows, raised deck area and garden with attractive woodland and countryside walks/ runs from the village. Ground floor - Spacious entrance hall, inner hall with family bathroom off, cosy lounge with wood burner and TV, a second living/ dining/ tv room/ work area, modern well equipped farmhouse kitchen with high beamed ceiling and utility room adjacent with washing machine and drier. The second living room and kitchen have patio doors onto the raised deck. First floor - 3 bedrooms, main double with built-in wardrobe and wash hand basin, small double with high beamed ceiling, and large bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 high level bunk beds (children love them), built-in wardrobe and wash hand basin. A shower room off the landing serves the three bedrooms. Main garden - terraced, well stocked, to the rear, overlooking fields and woodland, accessed from deck via steps, sheltered barbeque area. Tawstock - a peaceful rural village, away from traffic noise but Barnstaple with Pannier market, wide range of retail and leisure facilities, just 1½ miles away. Easy access to North Devon coast, Exmoor, picturesque Appledore and Bideford, beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton Sands, Westward Ho! and Instow. RHS Rosemoor or Marwood Gardens a 20/30-minute drive. Well-placed for North Devon golf courses and walking/ cycling routes. Nearest access to Tarka Trail and coast path 1 mile away. Younger guests love 'The Big Sheep', 'The Milky Way' and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. We are new to Airbnb but have hosted for 20 years. Our most recent online review October 2024 - ‘We were blown away by the size of this cottage upon arrival! The kitchen is newly done out and is huge and beautiful with patio doors to the gorgeous balcony and stunning views. Great to have two rooms downstairs with TVs if you have children/friends who want to relax separately. Very close to Barnstaple and lots to do in the area. We will definitely stay again!’ Other things to note During peak season arrival is usually on Friday and we offer 7-night stays. Off peak we can be more flexible, including 3/4 night short stays arriving on Fridays or Mondays, please contact to discuss. Check-in time is 4 pm, Check-out 10am. We have a No Party Policy to ensure the comfort and safety of our neighbours. This is our holiday home and due to allergies within the family we have a No Smoking Policy and regret we are unable to host Pets. Guest access Our guests have access to the house and garden but excluded are the garage and external and internal locked stores. Other things to note Heating, broadband, use of bedlinen and towels, and cleaning are included in the rental fee.
