Other things to note How to get to Kingston: The Seattle to Kingston walk-on fast ferry, through Kitsap Transit, is available from the downtown Seattle ferry terminal and goes directly to Kingston, about 35-40 minute sailing. On Saturdays during the summer (through September 27, 2025), the Saturday fast ferry runs all day, and the last sailing from Seattle is 11:20 pm. The other days of the week besides Sunday are commuter hours, with last sailing departing Seattle at 6:45 pm. The fast ferry does not run on Sundays. You can find the current schedule the Kitsap Transit website, selecting the Fast Ferry information. If you are bringing your car, there are 3 options to get to Kingston from the Seattle side: 1. Edmonds-Kingston ferry 2. Seattle-Bainbridge ferry and drive up to Kingston, about 25-30 minutes. 3. Drive from Seattle around through Tacoma, about 1 hr 45 minutes. We recommend downloading the Ferry Friend app, which makes it easy to see when the sailings are in either direction, and usually has an up-to-date status on spots available and if there is a wait.
