The Cornfield Pines

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy private seclusion at The Cornfiled Pines. A private drive leads you to the property surrounded by cornfields. Wildlife can often be seen around the property. Sandhill crane and waterfowl land in the fields during the early spring. Baby calves are born in the cornstalks beside the house during late winter months. The Cornfield Pines is truly the perfect place for those seeking a relaxing getaway. The space Year-round activities are present in and around Sutherland. We are located with-in a 30 min drive to North Platte, Ogallala, and Lake McConaughy, 4 hours to Denver, CO and Omaha, and 3 hours to Cheyenne, WY. Summer/Spring days can be filled with golfing the numerous neighboring 9 and 18 hole golf courses, fishing, and floating down the North Platte River. Fall/Winter brings waterfowl, hunting seasons, and ice fishing. The main floor offers a large open living room, kitchen, and dining room as well as two on-suite master bedrooms with king beds. The large deck extends from the kitchen and offers a great place for outdoor entrainment, grilling, and enjoying the western Nebraska outdoors. A half bath and large laundry room are also present on the main floor. A full sized high-chair and pack in play are available for those traveling with little ones. Two bedrooms with queen beds are located in the basement along with a full bathroom. The downstairs living room gives plenty of room to spread out on the sectional couch and two floor beanbags. A queen-sized air mattress and bedding are available to be set up in the basement living room for additional sleeping space. The exterior of the home is surrounded by a large grass yard that give ample space to run and play. The large deck on the east side of the home is perfect for taking in the sunrise as well as a comfortable place to wind down in the evening. Plenty of parking space is available on the property as well as room to maneuver and park trailers. NOTES: * Sutherland is located just inside of Cental Time, mountain time is 4 miles west of Sutherland. * Starlink Internet * Smart TV's allow you to log-in to your favorite streaming apps. * Coffee Provided * We do allow dogs. Two large kennels are provided for use in the laundry room. * No Smoking. Guest access Guests are welcome to park and use the double car attached garage.
